- Take your ring bearer for a visit to the venue before the ceremony. Show them what they’ll be doing and bring along props so they can practice. Not only will it be fun for them, but they’ll also feel more confident on the day
- Sometimes the ring bearer will stand for the ceremony and hand the rings over when needed. If the child is particularly young, give them a seat with their family/friend and have them hand the rings to the best man
- Use fake rings. If the thought of a toddler carrying your wedding rings down the aisle is causing you stress (understandable), buy fake rings for the ring bearer to hold. And keep the real rings with the best man!
